Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Parts Warehouse Associate, a vital role in ensuring the efficient flow of automotive parts and accessories. You will be responsible for managing inventory, accurately processing orders, and supporting seamless shipping and receiving operations. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick parts orders using internal systems to fulfill customer and internal requests efficiently.
Shipping & Receiving: Verify inbound and outbound shipments, inspect for damages, and update warehouse management systems.
Inventory Management: Organize and stock inventory in designated areas using proper material handling techniques (e.g., stacking on pallets, using pallet jacks/forklifts). Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
Warehouse Operations: Assist with general warehouse distribution activities to ensure timely order picking, loading/unloading operations, and stock replenishment.
Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety policies and procedures, including OSHA standards. Conduct safety checks on equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks if certified.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and improve inventory accuracy.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of shipments, inventory movements, and safety inspections.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum one year of warehouse or automotive dealership parts experience is highly preferred.
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a professional demeanor, and proficiency in computer skills.
Physical Requirements: Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 75 pounds occasionally) safely and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Licenses/Certifications: Forklift certification or experience is preferred.
Work Environment: Ability to work well in a process-driven environment and adapt quickly to new procedures.
