Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Parts Warehouse Associate to join our growing automotive dealership team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operations of our parts department warehouse, including receiving shipments, stocking inventory, pulling parts for technicians and retail clients, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy.

Core Responsibilities

  • Receive and Unload: Accept incoming parts shipments, verify delivery quantities against packing slips, and inspect items for damage.
  • Inventory Control: Bin-check and stock parts in their correct warehouse locations to ensure maximum space efficiency and tracking accuracy.
  • Order Fulfillment: Accurately pull and prepare parts orders for the service department technicians, wholesale accounts, and counter customers.
  • Shipping & Logistics: Package and label parts for outgoing shipments or delivery drivers.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized by sweeping, disposing of cardboard, and tracking hazardous materials properly.
  • Returns Processing: Assist with the sorting, documenting, and tagging of core returns and factory parts returns.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Prior warehouse, inventory, or automotive dealership experience is highly preferred (but we are willing to train the right candidate).
  • Physical Ability: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly, and stand, walk, bend, or climb ladders for the duration of a shift.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy to look up parts and manage inventory software; familiarity with an automotive DMS (like Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK) is a major plus.
  • Requirements: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a standard pre-employment background check/drug screening.

What We Offer

  • Comprehensive benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Life Insurance.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays.
  • Employee discounts on vehicle purchases, parts, and service.
  • Opportunities for internal career advancement into parts counter sales or management.
